Arturo Velázquez was born in 1984 in El Fuerte Sinaloa, México. Since the age of 8, he showed a particular interest for the arts. And at the age of 17 earned his first mural award from a statal contest in Sinaloa.

Arturo began studies to obtain a Design of Graphic Communication degree in the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana-Xochimilco at the age of 18 - while working for several companies.

Arturo made a postgrade in digital illustrating at the UAM, and now he works as teacher in this postgrade.

In 2010 he started working for Leo Burnett Mexico, and now he has participated in many projects for several brands like: Philip Morris (Marlboro red, blue, fresh, menthol), Grupo Modelo (Cerveza Corona, Barrilito, Mega, Coronita), Grupo Chrysler (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, SPDC, Fiat. Chrysler Latina), Conagra Foods ( ActII), Wrigley ( Lucas, Skwinkles), Axa Seguros, Samsung, Sanofi, and many others.

In 2012 he got certified as digital artist by the Imaginism School of Art / Imaginism Studios.
